About the DeKalb Moose Lodge
A fraternal organization rooted in community, service, and fellowship — right here in DeKalb, Illinois.
Our Story
The DeKalb Moose Lodge has been a cornerstone of the DeKalb community for decades. Founded on the principles of brotherhood, charity, and community service, our lodge has grown into one of the most active fraternal organizations in northern Illinois.
Every year we host events that bring neighbors together — from holiday meals to fundraisers that support local families in need. Our Community Thanksgiving is one of our most beloved traditions, offering a free, warm meal to anyone who walks through our doors.
We believe that no one in DeKalb should spend Thanksgiving alone or go hungry. That belief drives everything we do.
Our Mission
"To serve our community, support our members, and make DeKalb a better place for everyone — one act of kindness at a time."
Community First
Everything we do is rooted in service to our neighbors and the greater DeKalb area.
Brotherhood & Fellowship
We are a family of members united by shared values, mutual support, and genuine friendship.
Charitable Giving
From local food drives to scholarship programs, we give back in ways that make a lasting difference.
Proud Tradition
Decades of service have shaped who we are — and we carry that legacy forward with every event we host.
